Rock music may sparkle and fade on the charts, but rock n roll – the spirit, the invincibility, the fearlessness? That lives forever. There might not be a better example of the unstoppable need to make music, to knock the odds on their ass, than Tom Keifer. His story begins as the singer- songwriter, guitarist and front man of hard rock heavyweights Cinderella. Their bluesy, no-BS stadium-shakers moved records to the tune of fifteen million worldwide and sound tracked just about everybody’s ’80s. Tom Keifer, is enjoying continued success with is latest project, #keiferband, releasing two critically acclaimed solo albums “The Way Life Goes” & “RISE”. Though he possesses all the fire and brimstone of Rock’s greatest front men, you would be hard pressed to find the versatility and dimension that Keifer brings to a stage. Whether delivering heart wrenching ballads, such as Don’t Know What You Got ‘til It’s Gone, channeling the soul of the bluesmen of the past with his slide guitar and lap steel, or blowing sax on rockers like “Shelter Me”, Keifer is clearly one of the most unique singers and accomplished musicians in Rock and Roll. A high energy rock show combining all the classic hits of Cinderella with new favorites from his solo releases that will only leave you wanting more.
Since their self-titled debut in 1988 to the widely praised comeback albums "The Missing Peace" and "The Devil You Know", L.A. GUNS, led by Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis have always delivered solid rock ‘n roll to their fans. This current incarnation of the band has been touring non-stop, with a notable break coinciding with all other touring bands, and the cohesiveness of the unit, not to mention Phil’s stunning and unique vocals and Guns’ mind-bending guitar playing, are on full display here. A must hear and listen for all fans of the band, both new and old. L.A. Guns never looked like the pretty poster boys that so many of their peers did, but more the band that you would be terrified to bump into in an alley as they would likely be carrying switchblades and ready for a fight. But despite having many songs to back up that image, the band could also write powerful ballads (see the smash hit, “The Ballad Of Jayne” for Exhibit A of this argument) that showed there were some serious songwriting chops in the band. Those chops are on full display on the band's two most recent studio albums and the upcoming new album, "Checkered Past," arguably one of the most vital and exciting releases in the band’s catalog.
ABOUT DANNY ZELISKO PRESENTS
Danny Zelisko began promoting shows in Arizona, in 1974, as a 19 year old transplant from Chicago. He soon founded the legendary concert promotion firm, Evening Star Productions, making the southwest a viable stop on most tours, producing thousands of shows over the years in Arizona, Las Vegas and New Mexico and eventually, all over the USA. Danny proudly partnered Grateful Dead shows with Bill Graham Presents in Phoenix and Las Vegas in the 80s and 90s, which helped transform this area of the country into a concert hotbed that benefitted from this vision, to this day. After a brief dalliance with the corporate world of concert producing, Zelisko went solo again in 2011, producing thousands of shows since with many of his favorite acts that he grew up with, in the business, focusing locally on the Celebrity Theatre and Talking Stick Resort. In 2020, Danny put out a book to unanimous acclaim called ALL EXCE$$, covering his life and career over the years, available on Amazon. As a huge music fan, his current plans include booking even more shows all over the country, making sure that people all over feel the LIVE ON STAGE excitement of the great bands he has been exposed to since The Beatles put out their first record in 1963. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A GREAT LIVE CONCERT is the mantra!
