BYU-Idaho sees significant increase in winter enrollment

REXBURG — Brigham Young University-Idaho has released its official Winter 2024 enrollment numbers for both campus and online, showing a significant increase to its campus-student body this semester compared to last winter.

Statistics released for the Winter 2025 Semester show a total enrollment of 23,662 campus-based students, which is a 6.3% increase over the Winter 2024 Semester. This number includes 18,725 campus-based students who are enrolled in face-to-face courses and 4,937 campus-based students who are enrolled in online courses and/or internships. The university estimates that approximately 20,500 students are living in Rexburg this semester.

This semester, the campus-based student body consists of 12,241 male students and 11,421 female students (52% percent and 48% percent respectively). The total number of married students is 4,946, comprising 21 percent of the total campus-based student population.

In addition, BYU-Idaho has 17,515 online students who are serviced in partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide. This leads to a total of 41,176 total enrolled students at BYU-Idaho.
