Grants Available to continue your education!

Higher Education Grants are available from the IdahoSTARS project for the 2021-2022 academic school year. Grants are available for students taking a single ECE class or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education either full or part time at an accredited institution of higher education.

·     Part time grants cover the cost of a minimum of 6 credits per semester

·     Full time grants cover the cost of a minimum of 12 credits per semester

·     Single course grants cover the actual cost of a single ECE course

Part time and full time grants cover the cost of the minimum credit requirement plus include a $2,000 additional stipend which can be applied toward additional credits, books, course fees and materials, and living expenses associated with attending school.

Grants are distributed half in Fall semester and half in Spring semester and are disbursed directly to the college/university. Proof of attendance and registration in an Early Childhood related degree program or classes is required. Satisfactory completion of coursework and a GPA of 2.5 or higher per semester is required for renewal.
